Mark Beitel, PhD
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with offices in New York City and Westport, CT, where I provide psychological testing for people aged six and up. I am also an NYU-trained psychoanalyst, providing psychoanalysis for adults in Manhattan.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as Research Scientist in the Child Study Center, Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, and Lecturer in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration at Yale University. At Yale, I teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor doctoral dissertations, and conduct research, having authored or co-authored more than 75 scientific research publications on psychological assessment and psychotherapy.
I am also a faculty member in the Postdoctoral Program for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis at New York University, where I offer a course on the early history of psychoanalysis to postdoctoral Candidates.
