Clinical Supervision & Consultation
I provide clinical supervision and consultation for psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic, and psychodynamic psychotherapy to clinicians (psychologists, social workers, LMFTs, mental health counselors and trainees). I have practiced, researched, and supervised psychotherapy for more than 20 years. As an NYU-trained psychoanalyst and psychotherapy process and outcome researcher, I bring a unique skill set to the consultation process. Case formulation, psychotherapy techniques, and relational dynamics are areas in which I able to provide concrete and pragmatic assistance. I am available for individual and group supervision.
I also consult with people who are applying to clinical psychology graduate school. Applying for admission to doctoral programs in clinical psychology is difficult, and most undergraduate students do not receive sufficient guidance on how to select the right program or how to apply successfully. As a professor who has taught undergraduates for many years, I have become skilled at mentoring students through the process.
In addition, I work with academic, nonprofit, and corporate leaders who seek to optimize their leadership capacity and maximize their impact. Like anyone else, leaders tend to repeat outmoded, maladaptive patters. Identifying and changing these patterns can unlock potential.
